Alleghany High School junior Abigail Michael is one of the first Alleghany Highlands Public Schools students at the new MG-Tec IT Academy at Mountain Gateway Community College. She’s learning Python, word processing systems, and IT troubleshooting while keeping up with AHS classes online. Abigail says the hands-on program is “fun” and prepares her for industry certifications and a future in technology. She encourages other students to explore MG-Tec.
