Alleghany High School students Joowan Chung and Elijah Halterman have been chosen to serve on the Virginia Department of Health’s Youth Advisory Council.

Alleghany Highlands Public Schools will be closed on Monday, October 14. Schools will be closed for students, and offices will be closed.

Alleghany Highlands Public Schools is joining the Virginia School Boards Association and school divisions throughout the Commonwealth in recognizing October as Bullying Prevention Month.
