Some of our schools are having issues with P-EBT cards issued to students by the Virginia Department of Social Services.
Please do not call the AHPS central office, our schools, or the Alleghany County-Covington Department of Social Services if your student is having issues with a P-EBT card. VDSS personnel in Richmond are aware of the problems our schools are experiencing with P-EBT cards, and they can provide the necessary assistance.
The VDSS P-EBT call center is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The telephone numbers are (866) 513-1414, and (804) 294-1633. For convenience, you may also use an online form at
