The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is partnering with Project Tomorrow to survey stakeholders in the areas of instructional technology and virtual learning.
Project Tomorrow is a national education nonprofit group that collects and reports on the views of K-12 students, teachers, administrators, and parents on education and technology through the use of Speak Up surveys.
The VDOE has communicated to all school divisions in the Commonwealth on the importance of this data. The Speak Up survey data will be used to develop the VDOE Technology Plan for the next several years. All school divisions have been encouraged to participate, but not required.
Please consider participating by clicking the survey link below for respective student groups and parents. The survey must be completed by February 24, 2023. Again, participation is voluntary.
We want to make this opportunity to participate available as appropriate while preserving both instructional time and parent choice in student survey participation. English and Spanish versions of the surveys are available.
